Imported by JDMOFFROAD in May 2023 from Germany, this 1987 Swedish Firetruck is an amazing example of the 435 Mercedes Benz Unimog u1300L. The OM352 inline 6, 5.7 litre direct injected diesel has been upgraded with a factory Turbo from the Husqvarna Sweden dealership.

Recently replaced belt driven air pump provides 18 bar for brake systems, 8 speed transmission, 4x4 center diff and front and rear lockers.

A PTO water pump is plumbed to a central water tank housed in the rear equipment storage box. This rig was driven 1200 miles from the port of San Diego to Everett WA with no issues. Upon arrival, it got a full fluid service with Amsoil max duty 15/40 full synthetic engine oil, red line MT80 transmission oil, 80/90 convention axle oil, and same for all 4 Portals.  

Stock steel rims are wrapped in 330/80r20 Continental MPTs, about a 41” tire with smooth highway characteristics and extreme offroad traction.

This Unimog would make a very good offroad recovery challenge. It could also perform as a Wildland brush truck.
